MILCH won the DESIGNERS OPEN JURY AWARD in Octobre 2009.

She was awarded a free fotoshooting with the upcoming and young fotographers Jo Zarth and Franck van der Borgh, situated in Leipzig, Germany.

Hier nun der 2.Teil des DESIGNERS OPEN JURYPREIS Gewinns: Ein Fotoshooting mit dem Fotografen-Duo Zarth & van der Borgh mit meinem Lieblingsmodel Yves.

jo zarth und franck van der borgh haben den ersten Teil des DESIGNERS OPEN Jurypreises eingelöst und für MILCH Studioaufnahmen von fliegenden Kleidern gemacht. Alles wieder auf den Kopf gestellt sozusagen.

Ich mag das. Der 2.Streich mit meinem Lieblingsmodel Yvon folgt sogleich!

Basically, i m sending in pictures that i take here in my environment @ Yppenplatz. It will be a wild mixture of “bobo” outfits and all sort of migrants and youth cultures garments. that’s at least what i suppose and expect!  we will see.

Approach
Based on the principle of internet-fashion blogs “The Vienna Fashion Observatory” thematizes the interrelationship between fashion and the city in the specific case of Vienna. As opposed to the usual projects on the subject of fashion this fashion exhibition in the broader sense is not primarily about promoting fashion designers and their products but about portraying the people who wear it, the consumers, in their individual approaches to fashion as a form of expressing their personal style. At the same time this project aims to draw a differentiated picture of Vienna as a city which is not reduced to showcasing just the fashionable sides.

the vienna based drawing artist ELFFRIEDE will present her new book “SEISMOGRAPH”. during the lecture the audience may wear the “elffriedeMILCH schmeckt allen” collection , which is available at the MILCH.studio.
ZWEITRAUM (gab es damals noch gar nicht, heisst jetzt aber so) will create a special COCKTAIL called “enten.pinguin.seismograph” and serve it to the guests.

open house bis in die Puppen! ELFFRIEDE zeichnet still im Eck.
Manfred Unger verarscht und fotografiert dabei alle BesucherInnen, Bodo Volke spielt vordergründig braver Berliner Praktikant, hats aber faustdicke, sein Freund Thomas , der Aids-Hilfe-Praktikant, ist auch dabei und fungiert als MILCH – Testimonial mit einer MILCHMANN-Kappe und ein paar ganz liebe StammkundInnen schlürfen grüne Drinks – fast bis zum Umfallen.

informationsmaterial wie broschüren, plakate, flyer etc. von grazer kunst- und kulturstätten werden nach publikumswunsch vor ort in graz im palais thienfeld live mit der nähmaschine zu taschen verarbeitet, in welche wiederum infomaterial gefüllt werden kann.

_arbeit in der ESC, Aktuelle Kunst in Graz 2001

_ Arbeit : Ein Kollektiv von KünstlerInnen, die gleichzeitig auch als TechnikerInnen und ProgrammiererInnen tätig sind, ist eingeladen, in einem vernetzten Arbeitsfeld in Graz und Wien am Thema Work As Process zu arbeiten. Die potentiellen Ergebnisse erstrecken sich von Texten bis zu Minirobotern.

Das Kollektiv besteht aus KünstlerInnen, die in Österreich (v.a. Graz und
Wien) leben und bisher noch nie als Gruppe in Erscheinung getreten sind. Cloed Baumgartner, Cym, Peter Foschi, Jogi Hofmüller, Friedrich Tietjen, Ludwig Zeiniger

konkretes arbeitsergebnis von petr & cloed:

2 puppen werden über einen rechner 486 remote angesteuert. ergebnis: sie plaudern aus der festplatte. und dann ruhen sie sich auf einem monitor-polster aus.

inbetween sleeping and dreaming and working we built up an artifical setting, interferred by structural and emotional reality bites.

somniarium a sleeping experience: So one could say, we did a sleeping experiment, nevertheless sleeping was hard to get into, because the downstairs disco had a strong influence on our sleep/awake rhytme.

the abstract pixs on this site show our working – sleeping – dreaming- living room. I was using a cheap webcam for this documentation, (I also did some filming with an old video 8 cam). The webcam pixs are all made from the perspective of my working table in kapelica, whitch was located in the center of the room. I made picture sessions about our working space (during daytime and evening), about our catering/eating space (breakfast late and dinner at 4pm), about some projects (animations, filming and evening filmshows, opening hours visitors)
