MILCH | eco fashion
In the ongoing „trouser-dress collection“ MILCH hijacks classic men’s
fashion and transforms it into a new fashion for women. Suit pants and
dress shirts are up-cycled to dresses, skirts, hats, and jackets in a
clever and purposeful mingling of the sexes to make discarded clothes
wearable again. High quality raw materials make the collection classic and
elegant; innovative design makes the collection striking and modern.
MILCH represents an ethically conscious and sustainable fashion. Both the
environmental and societal aspects are taken into account in the whole
production chain. Not only are natural fabrics from up-cycled clothing
used, but all MILCH garments are hand sewn under fair working conditions.

Cloed Priscilla Baumgartner arbeitet seit 1998 unter dem Labelnamen MILCH im Bereich Kunst, Mode und Kleidung meist im künstlerischen konzeptuellen Umfeld. Vielfach wird ausgemusterte Ware durch das Prinzip des Upcycling in anderem Kontext wieder verwendbar gemacht wie etwa bei der Aneignung Appropriation des klassischen Männeranzugs dessen Verfremdung zu Hosen und Hemdkleidern auch als Genderverwirrspiel verstanden werden kann
Im Kunstbereich ist sie zuletzt als Mitglied des Nähmaschinen Kollektivs SEWTEETH in Erscheinung getreten. Sie ist zudem als Ko-Gründerin von „boutique gegenalltag“ und der Mode Verkaufsausstellung „MODEPALAST brand new expo“ bekannt.
Cloed Priscilla Baumgartner lebt und arbeitet zur Zeit in Wien, konkret ist sie privat und mit ihrem Atelier und Shop am Yppenplatz/Brunnenmarkt, 16.Bezirk beheimatet und hat in diesem Umfeld schon einige Kunstaktivitäten umgesetzt, die immer in Bezug auf den Ort stehen und in Interaktion mit den Bewohnerinnen treten so zb CORDON BUNT – NÄHTOWIERUNG – MODELS WANTED – YPPIGER GRÜNDONNERSTAG oder SECCADE
